The art of बंधेल
Mohini Jewellers is a Kolkata wholesale house that deals only in Bandhel bangles: a bronze base with a thick gold sheet cover, for the look of gold with the strength of bronze.
Only bangles, made by hand, sold by the dozen
We make and supply gold-covered bangles, and nothing else, to bangle shops, jewellers and resellers. Bauti, Churi and Churi sets, Pipe Bala, Zig Zag Churi, Baby bangles, Sikh Kada and Nova bangles are all built the traditional way: karigars fit and bond a thick gold sheet over a bronze base, then finish every joint and pattern by hand.
Because the gold is a cover and not a thin plating, the colour stays rich and the bangle stays strong. That is why our bangles keep selling, and why retailers keep re-ordering.
